Renal Failure
“Renal Failure” is a condition in which the kidneys lose ability to excrete waste products and balance the fluids, as a result of this, there is swelling seen in some parts of the body.
According to Ayurveda, Renal Failure is called “Vrikkopaghata”, “Vrikka” means “kidneys” and “Upaghata” means “failure”.
Causes of Renal Failure
- Excessive consumption of salt, alkaline substance
- Consumption of Viruddha ahara – incompatible foods
- Marmopaghata – Affliction of vital organs like heart, pancreas, liver
